![]() And, from what I can tell, it has only been in the works for a couple months, but already has a playable demo. Sounds great, right? At least, it is the most hope I have felt about getting old Robocraft back. If you would like to stick around to see where it goes, then please do.” “We are developing a game currently called Project Phoenix which has the goal of bringing back the good days of Robocraft. Here is a snippet from their Discord server describing the project. However, the demise of RC14 led me to discover Project Phoenix. (This wasn’t Freejam’s fault, and in truth, Mark wished the project luck and hoped it would succeed) Unfortunately, it had to be shut down due to Freejam’s shareholders being money hungry pieces of s- cough cough. So, like I’ve done every once in a blue moon over the past couple years, I started to search around for any news on old Robocraft making a return.Īpparently, I completely missed out on RC14, which was a version of the game from 2014 being played on community servers. My favorite version of Robocraft, and the one I wanted to play, was right after the “Dawn of the Megabots” update. The nostalgia was killing me I so badly wanted to play this game, however I knew that if I played it in it’s current state I would only be disappointed. I recently got the urge to go re-live some of my teen years and watch some old Robocraft videos. I am definetly the the second kind of person, and if you are the first kind of person, this post isn’t for you. This subreddit is made up of two types of people the first is those who enjoy Robocraft in its current state, and the second is those veterans who have since stopped playing but dream about what Robocraft used to be. ![]() TLDR: For any veterans wanting old Robocraft, check out Project Phoenix and their Discord link included at the bottom of this post.
